Yesterday London based members of Team Olwg spent a lovely morning in the spring sunshine in Boston Manor Park to help with the park’s conservation programme.

Boston Manor Park is the local park to Olwg directors Tony Griffiths FIChemE and Rosie Griffiths where they have spent many enjoyable hours since living in the area (if we conveniently forget the Harry Potter arm incident!) .

Helping to our local community is very important to us at Olwg therefore we ensure we always make time to give a little back so that everyone can enjoy Brentford at its Best!

We we had great fun getting out of the office to help while also introducing Emmanuel S. Kirunda and Maxim Musikhin to one of our favourite parks. We will definitely be back to help again! Thanks to Vanessa and all the other volunteers for welcoming us so warmly.

Boston Manor Park recently received a £5.34million grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund to upgrade facilities and to restore the park to it’s former glory. Lampton 360 Natural Park Manager Vanessa Hampton hosts volunteering sessions every Tuesday morning to carry out conversation tasks to enhance habitats for wildlife.
